I took my son there when he was about 10 years old to see about correcting his feet. After scheduling the appointment and taking my copay, he tells me in the exam room that he doesn't operate on children.
My husband has seen Dr. Wright as well, and again great results.
I am reading these reviews and I have to say I am not sure they are talking about the same Doctor Wright. First of all, my son has seen Dr. Wright several times and if he needed surgery Dr. Wright said he would be the one to do it. As for the humor and jokes, we love it but we get that not everyone likes a good laugh.
My son had a kid fall on his leg playing basketball and Dr. Wright took great care of his leg and made sure that my son was fitted well in his cast and had the right crutches. He has a great sense on humor and was able to assure my son that his leg would be okay.
I really liked Dr Wright. He was polite, funny, succint, and knew how to handle my five year old son who had a hairline fracture in his foot. But the accounting office, my goodness what a mess. Our visit was in late June and today I was charged the copay, nearly two months later, with no authorization. I gave them my credit card at the time of the visit but apparently they did not run it, for whatever reason. They tried to run it twice on the same day a month ago and voided both charges. And then twice again today and voided one. So that is just obnoxious to me.
Horrible experience. He told me how to kill the neighbors dog that had caused the injury. I had forgotten to ask for pain med and called his office 4 times asking for mild painkillers. No response. RUN OR HOBBLE AS FAST AS YOU CAN. FAR FAR AWAY
I had a knee that bothered me for months. He took like 20 minutes reviewing the x-rays with me and explaining what was causing it. After several weeks in physical therapy my knee felt better.
Dr Wright did an outstanding job repairing my wife's broken arm. He was caring and made sure we understood each step of the process. Having had 4 kids who played sports I have spent a lot of time with orthopedics and Dr Wright is the best.
