They are always helpful here and they don't try to swindle you just because you're a woman, like some other places.

I was in the store and wanted to get a service appointment. There was just one service writer there. He saw me and he said "I'll be right back". After 5 minutes and no one back I grabbed a soda and got in line to pay for it. As I was paying for it he finally came back. Maybe I'm being a bit hard but 8 to 10 minutes isn't right back. The worst part was when the service writer made my appointment. He kept asking me the same questions over and over again. Like my name, address, type of vehicle, what I wanted done for each of the 3 things I wanted. I'm 58 and I've never experienced anything like that before. I gave it 3 stars since on previous visits the staff was very helpful.
I've never had work done there. I only go there to buy necessities for the car, i.e. wiper blades. However, in the past when I asked for help to put the wiper blades on, it was no problem for one of the guys inside the store to help, but now you got to get a ticket write-up like I was there to have my car serviced. I wondered if Pep Boys went thru a mgmt change. It does "appear" staff are unhappy at Pep Boys. I used Salvos now 4 buying accessories and the guys are very helpful to put things on car if I can't do myself.
Fast service always very nice people and the prices are ridiculously low they rotated my tires and balanced all my tires for $10 and I didn't even buy my tires there. I got up to pay my bill and I looked out in the shop and didn't see my van I asked the tech where my van was and he said they always test drive after they work on anything to make sure it's working properly. I like that it makes me feel safe I'm just glad my wife's gynecologist doesn't do this. Haha...
