Dr sprague is wonderful..my dog was 16 when she passed but she would actually get excited to go see this vet for her routine maintenance.i also have two 14 year old cats that, to be honest, haven't seen much of vets office as they haven't needed anything..dr sprague is so sweet with them they don't mind at all when I bring them in for check ups now that they're older and she really does understand that not everyone has to funds to get blood work or X-rays for things that just aren't needed, unlike other vets offices we've been to..she truly is wonderful
My White Marsh Banfield could see my cat and told me to go here. I have a very sick cat knowing it was dehydrated and leg weakness. I explained my cat life summary and health. She's a healthy cat except for very bad ear issues from being a rescue. He checked he said oh yes her ears have a lot going on Well the vet explained things that could be the problem. I'm puzzeled but alarmed at the same time since they said a blood clot. I told them I'm on limited funds he understood would work up a plan. Well the plan consisted of every blood test there was X-rays fluids etc to the tune of 900+ dollars. A tech came in to show me the plan at no time did the vet come in to explain to me which would be the best test to have at this time. I felt like I was at a car repair shop where they are trying to sell you repaid on a car! I chose some blood tests and fluid push for hydration. He never addressed her mites. He came in said he was surprised her blood test came back good. After getting home my cat was great like her old self until the next morning. I wish the vet would have come in to advise me on the best test to choose that would meet my funds. Evidently the X-rays would have been an option after seeing her this morning. It turned out another vet is treating her ear mites issue and she is eating now. Is this really the issue I don't know time will tell.
Great until we actually needed them. Dog got a fever they said they didn't have the resources to do bloodwork or give treatment. Her fever continued to rise as we rushed to an ER vet. By that time it was too late. She died and now they want to keep charging me for the rest of the year even though they let her die.
Took my dog to see Dr. Sprague. She was amazing. I was almost worried I would be ridiculed over my dogs weight and dental issues. Complete opposite. She was very understanding and took money into concern when talking about procedures. Even gave us a coupon for a free clinic visit so that our dog would get a treatment that she felt string on so we could afford it. Thank you Dr. Sprague.
Great staff. Have really helped out my puppies
Have been with them for three years and would not change. I give four stars because everyone has room for growth.
