The initial price is what attracted me to this place, but they keep going up every few months it seems little by little. There was also a glitch on their website which would tell me I was paid for longer than I really was creating several late fees which are EXTREMELY insanely to begin with. They have since fixed this though which I'm happy about.
Some of the best customer service around! Husband and Wife own and run the business and are very nice. Very accommodating. They truly try to help you and not nickel and dime you.
In the beginning I had two units. I paid 1 & 1 I hadn't yet. I was told I couldn't get in to the 1 I paid for yet. I knew this was wrong so I had to call a manager myself at a different location which then got the employee to contact her boss & said that was completely fine to do. This happened twice though so it seems at times certain info isn't translated well to everyone.
Also, there should be carts I feel in each building. I normally will have to walk 4 or even 5 buildings up to find 1. This is almost always the case so I now bring my own if I need 1. Doesn't really seem like a big deal until it's cold out or you're short on time wanting to make a quick stop.
Overall..I like the people there & they are very friendly & always very helpful. If you don't live check to check like I do this is a great place & will be suitable & I feel safe to leave my valuables there but their late fees seem extremely high & often makes it difficult for people on lower incomes.
Point is, if you're always on time with your payments then this place will be absolutely great, but don't ever be late. I didn't pay for "roughly" 5-7 weeks or so (entirely not 100% sure) & my $120 bill was close to $400. So about $240 for the actual two months & $160 in fines. You have until the 5th to make a payment but unlike other places that would include up until just before midnight, this place only goes to when they close the actual store and anything after that can actually incur an additional fine. Also something I've noticed is say your bill is due on the 1st but you won't be late untill after the 5th.. You won't be able to get in until you pay it even though it's not late yet. This night be standard practice, but to me if it's not late you'd just general feel you would have access to your items.
I also had 2 dead mice (1 horribly decomposed and one fresher) before which when I told them they said they would clean it up for me. I thought that would include the tremendous amount of droppings, but it only was to include the actual mouse disposal. I had $1000 furniture that was stained in the process. I thought hey, I have renters insurance so I thought it would cover that, no it only covers nature related things & a few others. This all said I've had other inside units & never had an issue with bugs or animals. I highly suggest if you are going to store furniture you don't get an outside unit. Pay the extra for climate controlled or get an indoor unit.
Great staff! Extremely pleasant
Very clean facilities and customer service was excellent. I'm storing household items while I am trying to sell my house and this location is very convenient. Would highly recommend this ezStorage location.
I was very impressed- the property was clean and well maintained. The staff were absolutely wonderful- very, very kind and helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure we had all we needed. They deserve MUCH MORE than 5 stars. This was an excellent experience and will be my first choice if I need storage in the future.
I'll try to write a very fair opinion of my experience here there's good and both bad.
