I would have to say this is one of worst hospitals I have ever been to the RN and techs do not work as a team. I had major surgery and was sliding down in bed and the RN did not have anyone to help him pull me up in bed and was told I had to help him. I had major abdomen surgery. Other hospital I have been the RN had CNA or tech helping the nurse. Poor management and no team efforts. I am willing to travel to another hospital to stay away from UCH.
A creepy male nurse named Tom Kelly exposed his penis to me in the Harford Memorial ER Exam room. Mr. Kelly also told me he recieved a " blowjob" from a mental patient on the 5th floor of Harford Memorial in exchange for a ride home. When i told the guards..they called me a liar and threatened to call the police on me !!! When i told guest services they investigated it. I think they fired him, not sure. Tom Kelly R.N. is a sexual predator, other females have complained about him. # ME TOO. CAREFUL OF HIM LADIES.
EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE FOR MY WIFE, MARIE ,STARTING FROM HER BEING ADMITTED IN ER ,TO HER BEING RELEASED FROM HOSPITAL! Doctors, nurses showed great knowledge and compassion!
Great place if you like starring at walls. Been here 3 times in last couple months. All 3 times have been atleast a 6hr visit. Once you get out of the first waiting room, u go back to your second waiting room for the doctor.
Right now I am very very unhappy. I had surgery scheduled for December 8th. Took off work. Made arrangements to deal with the recovery and I am told today a week before my surgery that the date has to be changed right before Christmas. It is very unprofessional. I have already had my surgery pre-op and was told that it cannot be less than two weeks before my surgery. Do I have to get it again? Now my whole life and holiday plans have to be rearranged because of the ineptitude of this hospital.
I had to go to ER on another visit took me right back and started a IV right away and no vitals and triage till 90 minutes later till I said never been to a hospital that they never took my vitals before putting a IV in. Just WOW...THE RIGHT HAND DOESN'T KNOW WHAT THE LEFT HAND IS DOING IN THIS HOSPITAL.
