This is probably the worst group of doctors in Harford County. I've never been to a doctors office that charges you interest on a missed appointment. I pleaded with the office trying to explain that I had a death in the family and had to rush to hospital with family but in their eyes this was not a excusable reason to miss appointment. Also the referrals to see their specialist were just the same. I have no reason to lie and would never recommend this practice to anyone. Thanks.
I have been associated with Dr. Adams for 25 years, since she and Dr. Knight first opened up the practice. Before too long, it was taking more and more time to get an appointment with Dr. Adams and it was very frustrating. I've been seeing Jeanne Overacre, a PA, for 100% of my healthcare for many years now. I've called many times to see Dr. Adams, but I was told she's book out 6 months now. I could make an appointment for March if I wanted. I have been having issues with my BP being elevated, headaches, dizziness that I wanted to see a physician about. No could do. I have an appointment with Jeanne on October 9th. Lord knows I've had issues with the front desk, and ended up having a "Come to Jesus" conversation with the "manager", which is what many people have said in the past. I wanted to see one of the physicians, but no can do. I want to ask, why does it take 6 months to see a physician, but they ALWAYS make time for drug representatives who just walk in. I don't want to change physicians, but I feel like I have no choice.
I called to schedule and appointment and was told my account was deactivated. Excuse me? I've been a patient for over 20 years. I then spoke with someone else, who scheduled my appoinent and said not to worry. A week later, I drove up from NC to my appoinent to be told I was not on the schedule. The receptionist said she would see what she could do. 30 minutes later, I check in and she says, I'm still working in you. 15 minutes later ....I just leave. Im looking at signs that say, walk ins welcome, same day appointments, people are coming jn after me and beeing seen and im just sitting there waiting for a sign, an update, an acknowldegent. Dr..Peters, this place is beneath you and doesn't deserve you. Maybe its just time for me to move on.

Over the years I have watched this office go downhill. The waiting room looks trash and smells, and it is obvious that the front desk could care less. People are there crying .literally and complaining when I walk in. All the familiar faces are gone. Its looks like a local health department office.
Everybody at Plumtree Family Health is professional and courteous. Very easy to book appointments. Office is conveniently located near other medical facilities making same day referrals very convenient.
